OISL has Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for export of power to GRIDCO. The company is Self reliant for power & exports close to 6 MW of power to the Grid. Power is generated from Waste Heat Recovery Boiler(WHRB) from DRI Process . The state of art AFBC Boiler with Turbo generation of 18 MW is installed.
